Getting started
How do I make my first invoice?

Type your name on the first screen and pick your usual currency. Singil then asks for your first client: their name, your rate, what the work is and how often you bill them. Tap Next and the invoice opens already filled in. Enter the hours or quantity, then tap Create & Share.

How do I invoice the same client again?

Tap the client on the home screen. The next billing period, your rate, the next invoice number and last invoice's line items are already there. Change the hours if they changed, then tap Create & Share.

You can also open any past invoice and tap Next Invoice.

How do I add my bank, GCash or Wise details?

Tap the gear on the home screen, then fill in How to pay you. Write it the way you'd want a client to read it, one method per line. It's printed at the bottom of every new invoice.

How do I add my logo?

Settings → Add Logo, then pick an image. A square or wide logo on a plain background prints best. You can change or remove it any time.

Invoices
The billing period is wrong. How do I change it?

Use the arrows either side of the period, under the total. Each tap moves one period back or forward. To change how periods work for a client, hold the client on the home screen, choose Edit Client, and pick weekly, twice a month (1st–15th and 16th–end), monthly or one-off.

How do I add tax?

Turn on Tax in the new invoice, then enter the rate and a label such as VAT, GST or Sales Tax. The next invoice for that client remembers it. Singil doesn't choose a tax rate for you or give tax advice; use the rate you've been told to charge.

Can I have more than one line item?

Yes. Tap Add Line Item for each extra line. Items you add are copied forward to the next invoice for that client, so you only set them up once.

How do invoice numbers work?

They start at INV-001 and count up. You can edit the number on any new invoice, for example to 2026-015, and the next one will continue from there: 2026-016.

How do I mark an invoice as paid?

Open the invoice and tap Paid. An invoice changes from Draft to Sent automatically the first time you share it, and you can switch it back with one tap.

Why is my PDF A4 and not Letter, or the other way round?

Invoices in USD or CAD use US Letter, since that's the paper size in the US and Canada. Every other currency uses A4.

I changed a client's rate. Did my old invoices change?

No. Each invoice keeps its own copy of what was on it when you made it. Only new invoices use the new rate.

What happens to invoices if I delete a client?

They stay in your history exactly as they were. Deleting a client only removes them from the client list.

Your data
Where are my invoices kept?

On your phone, and nowhere else. There's no account and no server. See the privacy policy for the details.

I got a new phone. How do I move my invoices?

Restore the new phone from your iCloud or Google backup and Singil comes back with its data. Singil doesn't have its own sync, so a phone set up as new will start empty.

Does Singil work offline?

Completely. Making and saving invoices never needs a connection. You only need one to send the PDF through a messaging or email app.

Purchase
Is there a subscription?

No. Singil is one price, paid once: ₱49 on iPhone and ₱29 on Android. There are no in-app purchases.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by the store you bought from. On iPhone, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, open Google Play, go to Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history, and choose Singil.

Still stuck?

Email dustinejao@gmail.com with your phone model and what happened. A screenshot helps. Please don't send your whole invoice unless you're comfortable sharing what's on it.
